This video was taken after a very long day for Gideon! He stripped down to his shorts and diaper, grabbed his bottle and was snoring not long after! He is just too cute!

All on his own!
Well, Gideon surprised Colin and I yesterday when he decided to stand up all on his own without ANY support! I was so excited! My little seven month old is the smartest baby on earth! He was so cute! Granted, he only stood for like three seconds before I scared him by being all "Oh my gosh!" and he fell on his bottom! HaHa! But he did do it again, so I know it isn't a freak thing!

YEAH, YEAH I KNOW!
Ok, so I'm not the best blogger in the world! Actually we have all just been extremely busy! But, it is finally summer and I'm done with school! So, updates on the family:
Colin is working for the US Forest Service doing something with fish...redd counts, tagging fish, hiking, hiking, and more hiking! He is absolutely loving his job. We're grateful that he is able to do something he enjoys so much and that will help him in the future job search! Plus, he's off weekends and home by 4:30! Other than that, Colin is just being a wonderful husband and father!
Gideon is now 7 months old! I can hardly believe it! He is crawling around and pulling himself to a standing position with support. He likes to talk to himself...only himself! Anytime he notices one of us is watching he stops "talking" altogether! He enjoys going to the park with mommy and watching the people like Grandpa Petersen! Gideon loves he swings! I can't wait until he's older so I can take him on roller coasters...Colin's too chicken! :)
I got a 4.0 in school this year! I think that is pretty good for having a new baby, working 20 hrs a week, and going to school full time! I celebrated my first Mother's Day today and couldn't be prouder of my husband and son! I am still doing the vinyl thing, though the site is down due to finances. I just finished a job with the US Census Bureau. I was doing pre-census work to get ready for the 2010 Census! It was way fun, I got to get out and walk a lot, and I got paid to do it!
Well that is about it for now! We have a few plans in the works for the future... I know everyone is anxious because I don't want any more kids... we'll see! that's all i'm gonna say!

In D.C. with the Petersens!
Well, I am a little sad about the way this video turned out because I didn't put the night recording mode on...but, at least I got to see my wonderful cousins!
HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY COLIN!
Colin celebrated his 24th birthday today!!!! We didn't do very much. We made Philly Cheesesteaks for dinner, sang happy birthday, and opened presents. He was a real good sport, though! He let me film the whole thing!
His gifts consisted of some much needed cash, a hunting/survival knife, and a new jacket and shirt (which didn't fit! :(! ). I think he had a pretty good birthday!
Gideon really liked the sparkler candles we got for the cake!
Well, I'm attaching a video so that you can see!

Holidays, Holidays, Holidays
Well, the Holidays are over and I am still alive! I've made it another season! We had a blast this Christmas and New Year's! But I am so tired and ready to just relax!
Colin, Gideon, and I spent Christmas at my mom and dad's in Nephi then flew to Maryland the day after Christmas and stayed there until the 3rd! While we were in Maryland, we visited a lot of Colin's family, introduced Gideon to all of them, and got to see my cousins Joe and his wife Laura and my precious Suzannie! We all did a session at the Washington, D.C. temple and then went to dinner at this cute little American diner!
I had so much fun seeing everyone, but I was very ready to come home! Unfortunately, we started school just two days later so we weren't able to really relax before getting back to the daily grind!
